What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 1pm to ensure you have enough time to mingle before the ceremony begins.

What is the dress code?

Black tie optional — kilts and trews are highly recommended! It is February, it is Scotland, it is cold. Please bring a coat. Sturdy shoes are advisable for the gravel paths and grounds.

Are children welcome?

We have opted for an adults-only celebration. As much as we love your little ones, we ask that they stay at home — we hope this gives you the chance to relax and enjoy yourself fully.

Is there parking at the castle?

Yes, there is ample free parking available at the castle and at the accommodation sites if you are staying on site at Fingask.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unless a plus one is specified on your invitation, we ask that guests come as invited. Our venue has a capacity limit and every seat is accounted for.

When should I RSVP by?

We ask that you RSVP by 26 June 2027. This gives us plenty of time to confirm numbers with the venue and caterers.

Can I take photographs?

We are having an unplugged ceremony — please put phones and cameras away so everyone can be fully present. Photography is very welcome during the reception and evening celebration.

How do I get there without a car?
